Paul Swanson
Clinic Director and Dentist
Qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2000.
Paul has worked at Rose Lane Dental Practice since January 2005, prior to this he had worked at other practices following his graduation.
In 2003, Paul gained a Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons, and also has further qualifications enabling him to provide sedation for nervous patients.
He has recently completed the Diploma in Dental Implantology run by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This is the highest level of Implant training available in the U.K. and is a qualification held by literally 50 dentists.
Paul accepts referrals from other practices in the city for implant dentistry, showing the high regard of which he is held by his fellow dentists as well as his patients.
Paul is also employed by the University of Liverpool to train and mentor newly graduated dentists.
Paul is married to Karen, currently studying Dentistry at Liverpool University, and together they have a son, Connor, who is 3 years old. Like his Dad, Connor is a true Evertonian!
Outside of work, Paul enjoys watching films, listening to music and spending time with his friends, and is also a member of the local gym.

David Bishop
Dentist
David qualified from Liverpool University in 1974, and started at Rose Lane Dental Practice in 1976 in partnership as part of a group practice.
He has an interest in all areas of Dentistry, and in 2006 became a registered practitioner of the ‘Invisalign’ invisible orthodontics system.
David as held a variety of positions in local dental organisations including Chairman of Liverpool section of the BDA.
He is a part time tutor of dental students at Liverpool University Dental School, and has special interest in supporting third world initiatives for provision of dental care.
David is married with two grown up children, and is a season ticket holder at Everton Football Club.

Eileen Haggis
Dentist
Eileen qualified in 1980 from Liverpool University and has been working as a general dental practitioner for practices throughout Liverpool since qualification, and has been at Rose Lane for 16 years.
She enjoyed working at the Liverpool Dental Hospital as a Tutor for 4 years and has been a member of the local dental committee for many years to keep abreast of the changes in Dentistry.
Eileen enjoys all areas of her work and feels a great sense of achievement in helping very nervous, frightened patients become a relaxed, calm and a regular attendee. It is very important to make dentistry as painless as possible. If the normal methods do not succeed we have Dr Swanson and Dr Hanif who can provide sedation for you.
She particularly enjoys tooth whitening and all cosmetic treatments i.e. closing gaps between teeth, changing the shape and colour of teeth and white fillings and can replace missing teeth with a variety of treatments.
Together with the help of our whole team at Rose Lane, we can make the best of your smile so if you have anything you want to alter please do not hesitate to ask.
Eileen enjoys playing tennis to keep the old joints moving and sing in a choir, and have 3 grown up children who are wonderful.

Navida Hanif
Dentist
Navida qualified from the University of Manchester in 2000 and has since worked in both General Practice and in a Hospital setting. She has also worked for the Community Dental Service providing dental care for anxious patients with sedation, and is able to offer sedation for nervous adults in practice now.
Navida also spent a few years working as a staff grade in the Oral Surgery department in a local teaching hospital where she carried out Minor Oral Surgical procedures including the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth, and presently takes referrals in-house for difficult or surgical extractions.
She is a firm believer that continuing postgraduate education is a vital part of every practitioners working life and crucial for maintaining a high level of clinical practice, and to date has completed the MFGDP and MFDS examinations and has a Certificate in Conscious sedation.
Navida currently works part time as an Associate Practitioner here at Rose Lane. Having experience of both Hospital and Community Dentistry she has acquired and built upon both clinical and interpersonal skills which she is able to implement in her daily life in General Practice. Navida carries out a wide range of General Dental services but have a special interest in Oral Surgery with or without sedation and enjoys all aspects of Cosmetic Dentistry.
She is currently married, no children as yet! Enjoys travelling and has recently been on a fantastic trip to New Zealand. Other destinations include Canada, USA, Cape Town, Dubai and several European Countries. In her spare time she reads, listen to music and goes to the gym! |
Dominic Wyatt
Dentist
Dominic qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2007.
He graduated from Newcastle University with merit in clinical dentistry whilst additionally being awarded the Sopwith prize for excellence in restorative dentistry and the Coltene prize for excellence in aesthetic restorative dentistry, both highly respected awards within the university. Also, as an undergraduate, had pictures of treatment published.
Dominic runs our Saturday morning clinic. This session is available to all our patients.
Dom enjoys all areas of dentistry and have built relaxed and trusting relationships with his patients. He has a specific interest in cosmetic dentistry. He hasa already built up an impressive portfolio of cosmetic work carried out at the practice over the last 12 months.
In his spare time Dom is a keen sportsman and particularly enjoy both watching and playing football, whilst supporting Spurs… unfortunately! When he has the opportunity, he enjoys travelling with both friends and family, exploring new places and meeting new people. Also fond of eating out, watching films and socialising with friends. |

Richard McIndoe
Dentist
Richard qualified from Liverpool University in 2008 and is the newest member of the team at Rose Lane Dental Practice. He is this year’s new vocational practitioner under mentor Paul Swanson, and is enthusiastic about his long career ahead in Dentistry.
He has a keen interest in all areas of Dentistry, with particular interest in endodontics and also aesthetic dentistry. He spent a Summer along side a number of cosmetic specialists in the USA.
Richard is hoping to gain extra qualifications and experience in these areas of Dentistry over the next number of years.
Outside of Dentistry, Richard is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC…..although heavily outnumbered at the practice! He also plays in a football league with a local team, and enjoys spending time in the gym. |
